Description
A pop-art style portrait of my bird. I took a photo of him and then manipulated the heck out of it.
I'd seen a lot of these type of portraits done ( example: [link] )and I liked them a lot, but they were too expensive. So I finally sort of found of my own way of doing it.
He's an albino white-faced lutino (thus, the name Albus, which means 'white' in Latin, plus the Harry Potter reference). He's only about a year old but he has a terminal illness called PDD (aka the Bornavirus). Some birds can live years of a normal life with it, so I'm keeping my hopes up.
The story goes: he was at an animal hoarder's house and other birds picked at him and then he was rescued by the Humane Society, which then gave him to the rescue we got him from.
He's a trooper.
